KYLE DRAPER

President

Kyle Draper (General Manager/COO, The Country Club at DC Ranch)


Kyle Draper has significant experience within the Club Management profession having spent over 20 years in various leadership positions in both member owned and developer owned Clubs.  Kyle began his career as the Clubhouse Manager at Las Vegas Country Club and then moved to Overlake Golf & Country Club in Medina, WA where he served as a Service Consultant before moving to The Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ as the Clubhouse Manager in advance of the turnover from the developer DMB Associates to member ownership in an equity transfer.  Kyle helped the Club to successfully navigate through the transition in 2009 at a very difficult time due to the downturn of the economy.  Through a partnership with the membership and Club employees the Club has seen significant growth and success since.


In 2013 Kyle then assumed the General Manager/COO role at Tucson Country Club where he served until 2016.  Kyle was then selected to return to The Country Club at DC Ranch to serve as the General Manager/COO where he currently serves. 


Kyle was born and raised in Redmond, WA and brings a background of over fifteen year’s hospitality management experience to this position, most of which have been focused in the private club sector. Kyle attended UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration with a focus in club management. During his time in Las Vegas, Kyle worked for various strip resorts, including Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay.

Kyle is dedicated to the Club Management field and is an active member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). He earned his Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation in 2010, which is CMAA’s signature of professionalism and dedication to the club management industry.

DOC BELITZ

Vice President

Doc is currently in his 8th year as the General Manager/COO at Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Previously, he spent 14 years with two professional management companies, Crown Golf and OB Sports, overseeing multiple private Clubs in 8 states while also serving as the general manager of The Golf Club – Scottsdale and Wildfire Golf Club.  Before these duties, he was the Director of Golf at Desert Highlands Golf Club from 1993 to 1998.  Doc is a member of the PGA of America and served two terms as Director for the Southwest Section of the PGA and a member of the Club Managers Association.    Doc and his wife Nancy of 23 years enjoy one daughter Brooke, a freshman at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, where she plays tennis for the Tigers.

LISA HUTCHERSON

Secretary/ Treasurer

Lisa joined the Desert Highlands team December of 2018. She is a Certified Club Manager with an MBA in Finance. She has over 30 years of accounting experience in the club and association industry. Lisa started her career as a banquet server when she was a young adult which contributed significantly to her “ground up” knowledge of the club industry. She previously worked for the Arizona Country Club from 2014 to 2018, as the Director of Finance. She spent 26 years prior to that with ClubCorp with her last position as a Regional Accounting Manager overseeing the financial assets for Anthem Golf and Country Club, Gainey Ranch Golf Club, Seville Golf and Country Club, and the Canterwood Golf and Country Club which is located in Gig Harbor, Washington. She enjoys playing Ice Hockey and spending time with her adult son, husband and two beautiful dogs, Sadi and Izzi.

GABY SPEH

Managing Director

Born and raised in the beautiful beach town of La Paz, Mexico located about an hour and a half north of Cabo San Lucas. 
When I was 17, I had the chance to participate in an exchange program in New Brunswick, Canada where I attended my last year of high school as well as business college for two years, with a Travel & Tourism Degree.
When I returned to Mexico, I graduated from University in Administration Management and started my journey in the hospitality industry.
Then I joined the Discovery Land Company at El Dorado Golf and Beach Club where I met my husband. We now have three incredible children: Carter (16), Maya (15) and Capella (7)
Have been involved in the CMAA for over 10 years now and honored to have taken the role of Managing Director of the Greatest Southwest Chapter.
